Ipswich in southern Suffolk is as far south as APS covers, the town is about 60 miles north east of London and is located on the estuary of the River Orwell. With a population of over 130,000 this is the largest town in Suffolk and it boasts an important port handling several million tonnes of cargo each year and is part of the 5 ports which make up Haven Ports. In recent years the town has undergone extensive rebuilding and a regeneration mainly around the waterfront.
IG Recruit – Due to expansion IG Recruit were relocating to new premises in Martlesham Heath, they specialise in recruitment within the technology sector. In the summer of 2017 they contacted us to create 3 new offices within their new building; a meeting room, a corner office and a server room. The meeting room and corner office we constructed from frameless glass partitioning and the server room from solid partitioning for acoustic purposes.
Southern Cement Ltd – Based at the Port of Ipswich Southern Cement Ltd supplies premium quality bagged cement products to customers within the construction market throughout the South East of the UK and London, they are part of CRH Group who is an international market leader in building materials and employs over 76,000 people in 35 countries. This customer required new office space to be created within their existing warehouse without losing any storage space so we manufactured a bespoke mezzanine floor with staircase with a fire rated suspended ceiling underneath. We then created offices on top the mezzanine floor which included products such as partitions, ceilings, plumbing and toilets, a kitchen, carpets and electrics and lights.
Banbury Howard – Is a marketing company with offices in London and Ipswich specialising in branding and design, PR, events and digital marketing. In the early summer of 2017 they required a new layout and redesign of their offices in Adastral Park. We created a meeting room, several offices and a storage area using a fully glazed partitioning system with frosted film and installed new flooring to the areas which had been created.
